NEW: Recordings extended for the duration of the series!

This 8-week gentle yoga/pilates/rehabilitative exercise series will help you stretch, strengthen, and create better joint stability so you can reduce or avoid pain. Classes meet live and recordings are available for the duration of the series. Live classes meet on Saturdays May 11 through June 29 at 9:30am Pacific time LIVE for 55 minutes and is open to all levels and abilities. Once registered, you will receive a link to the live series by the first day of class.

This is the class your joints have been yearning for. Combining methodologies such as yoga, Pilates, rehabilitative exercise and classic fitness, you will be taken through a gentle full-body movement flow to build balanced strength that promotes painless mobility, functional flexibility and joint stability. If your neck gets grumpy, if your shoulders are tight, if you suffer low back pain, if your knees or hips interrupt your favorite hikes, or if you just want to build strength and remain pain-free throughout your life, this class is for YOU. Designed to be appropriate for absolutely all bodies and all levels of fitness, you will be offered many options throughout class so that you can tailor each workout to your personal needs and goals.

All exercises may be done with just your own body. However, you may choose to arm yourself with a blanket (or some other padding), yoga blocks, a yoga strap (non-stretchy band), a stretchy thera-band and/or booty loop band if you have them, and a foam roller or large or small stability ball to add a little resistance or help with balance or stretching.
